Ever Had a Year That Nearly Broke You?

I did - and it taught me everything about stress, burnout, the true meaning of self-care and why mums need to put themselves first.

It started with something joyful: we moved into our dream home. A few days later, my 6-year-old daughter and I flew abroad to visit family. I expected happy moments… but instead, I was met with heartbreak: my grandfather had passed away unexpectedly.
That trip turned into an emotional rollercoaster - grieving, trying to keep my daughter happy, and juggling family expectations while ignoring my own needs.
And that was just the beginning of a year that almost broke me.
